Apollo Retail is Hiring an Assembly technician Near Irving, TX
Responsibilities
- Maintain the furniture department at different retail locations
- Perform in-store tasks including but not limited to : light dusting and vacuuming, making minor repairs to display items, complete special projects as assigned, and inventory
- Follow the appropriate protocols to ensure the safety of all display items in the department
- Complete an in-depth report on the store kiosk at the conclusion of each service call
- Position furniture and create a customer-ready furniture department
- Utilize the plan-o-gram to ensure the furniture is organized correctly and identify any missing items
- Build and develop the trust and confidence of the store manager through knowledge of Apollo policies and procedures
- Complete furniture assemblies after the service visit as needed
- Participate in projects in other retailers as requested by manager
Requirements :
- Must have own reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple store locations each day (depending on market location)
- In some markets, you must have a basic tool set
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and Apollo management team (good communication more shifts)
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift 50 lbs throughout the day
- Must work hours between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday Friday (encouraged to accept weekends and evenings as needed)
- Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools and power tools
- Must be 18 years or older
